Wow

Wow, it has been way to long. Life has been crazy. Happy times, sad times, crazy times, etc. But that is just how life is right? Josh is still sober and is doing great. I am so proud of him. Alyssah is getting so tall and with height comes attitude. She went from being a child straight to a teenager. She is still a good girl just with a little extra attitude. We are now living in Eagle Mountain, Ut. We our in the process of losing our house which is kind of hard but there is nothing else we could do. Thanks to the economy and construction life Josh has been laid off again. He is still in good spirits. Of course there are moments but he is trying to stay busy. We still have our crazy cut dogs that keep us (i mean Josh since I am never really home) busy.

I am on a mission to lose weight. As my sister in law says it is a life change, not a diet. I am working out 5 times a week with friends who are very supportive. My body hurts but it is a good hurt. Even if I am not losing a ton of weight I feel good about myself. I feel healthy. I try to think of this as a recovery process. Josh has to go to meetings to stay sober. I have to work out to lose weight. I took a vegetarian cooking class last night which was a lot of fun. I had tofu ice cream for the the first time. It actually was really good. I don't plan on going vegetarian but I really don't eat much meat anyway. So wish me luck. I am working hard and can't wait to see the results.

4 years

Josh and I celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary yesterday. It started off rocky. We were suppose to go out for sushi and then to the 311 concert. Josh truck broke doen on his way home from work and had to call the tow truck. Amazingly the guy was there in 10 minutes and Josh was home in time for us to make it to the concert. It rained a bit but that made it even more exciting. 311 was great as usual.

4 years has gone by so fast. We have had some scary and fun adventures but we have made it this far and are excited to see what the next 4 years will bring.

Back to work

Josh is finally back to work. I must say having a stay at home husband was kind of nice but I am so glad he is back to work. He is working for Cache Valley Electric out at Hill Airforce Base. It is only about 15 minutes from our house which is even better. He actually complained that his feet hurt because he wasn't use to standing all day. I am going to have to get back into the routine of doing laundry, dishes, dinner, etc. I got really use to using the excuse that I worked all day and he didn't. Congrats husband! I love you!

Race for the Cure '09

The lab did race for the cure again this year with 21 participants from the lab. Once again it was tons of fun. There were over 19,000 participants this year which is amazing to me.

Alyssah's Birthday

We spent 4.5 hrs at Jungle Jims on Saturday for Alyssah's birthday. She had so much fun with her friends, cousins, grandmas, grandpas, aunts, and uncles. Not only did the little kids get to ride the rides but so did the big kids. It was tons of fun for all. It was fun having everyone together!
